We're excited to announce FinHub x Interledger Bootcamp a one-week intensive bootcamp and hackathon exploring the world of open payments. This collaborative event is hosted by the Financial Innovation Hub and the Interledger Foundation.

The event, starting June 10 through to June 14, will see students from UCT and other tertiary institutions in Cape Town attend a boot camp which features one lecture followed by one practical session each day, hosted by expert mentors, focusing on the world of payments, how the payment system has evolved and how the Interledger Foundation is utilizing the Interledger Protocol and Open Standards to revolutionize digital payments.

At the end of the boot camp, you'll have the chance to showcase your newly acquired skills in a full-day hackathon on June 15, 2024 with a R65 000 prize pool. Teams will compete for the top prizes of R35 000, R20 000, and R10 000. Find out more about the work of the Interledger Foundation, here.
